Water temp is kept at a temp of 70 without using a water heater. There is about 6 inches of water in the tank so they can just get their heads outa the water. Use water conditioner and filter. WebQuestion about a turtle release. My neighbor had a hatchling red eared slider (shell size about 1.5" across) accidently shipped in a burlap bag of crawfish. Looks to have bright eyes not skittish, and pleasant color. I know of a pond that we could place him in that would have drainage to a swamp. Should I have any concerns releasing him.
